A side-tannk engine today is very similar to a side tank engine yesterday - Post 22
Just spent 20m in the air waiting for a freight train that was live in the timetable but still didn’t show 09
Regular trains are all late or cancelled, we don’t get much freight come though here, how long do I wait just in case?
Oh the joys of GDAC Challenge.
Can’t imagine how long we’ll have to wait to get Item 2 all lined up on a dual carriageway
Lots of trains will be cancelled today because of the heat, has anything else come along that line?
Also a lot of fright will be on the network, but runs as required. Real Train Times is your friend to see if it even ran.
For
12. A wooden bridge
- Carrying a wheeled vehicle
- Spanning a river (must be marked as such on Google Maps)
- Drone Scene entry
Must the whole structure be wooden? Or would it suffice for, say, significant parts of the structure to be made of wood? What would count and not count in terms of how much is made of wood I guess.
It’s activated in the schedule so it should run, and unless it was 15 min early it’s not been though yet, had something come the other way, its the only eastbound exit so has to come at some point
Sometime earlier…
Fairs. My idea wouldn’t count then.
EditL wrong station
Here it is: Realtime Trains | 323J 1443 St Blazey L I P to Exeter Riverside N.Y. | 18/07/2022
Doesn’t look like it ran, or for whatever reason there’s no live info.
What a day to pick to photo (no) trains
Next time I’m just going to the sodding freight depot it’s only 40 miles away, I look like I’m half tomato now
(Details redacted)
When the present heatwave disappears we expect to see most of the south-west’s competitive drone pilots crowded along the St. Blazey to Exeter stretch of line.
It is both unusual and refreshing to see someone so open with plans and locations in the cut-throat
world of Challenge
Quite clear that train was going to Riverside New York!
There’s plenty of train line to go round the what, five or so of us (?), in the southwest that are active. That church on the other hand…
Should be fairly simple - that is if the river has any water in it
Its a marathon not a sprint chaps.
@Bobbysmile link above now confirms it didn’t run.
Some services are ‘called’ (activated) automatically by railway computer systems despite being unlikely to run. The best indicator of a service running is an actual reporting time being displayed - these will be in bold type in the ‘realtime’ section.
