Thank you to everyone who competed, thank you to everyone who watched from the sidelines and well done to you all. That’s it for another year, another milestone in Grey Arrows Drone Club’s story. It’s growing bigger and better every day!

We would like to wish you all goodbye on behalf of our stalwart judges who are, err, unavoidably detained at the present time …

Goodbye!

Awsome comp again, really close this year… but can anyone beat John!

Fantastic entries; congratulations to the winners and well done everyone who took part.:clap::clap:

Lets not forget the fiendish devils who came up with the challenges … twisted they are, but entertaining nevertheless. :face_with_hand_over_mouth::saluting_face:

Well done everyone. I had such a fun time collecting the shots I entered, rising to new challenges that I had not considered before (applying for a flight in an FRZ), some items were easier than others. I would like to thank you all for the banter and the encouragement and also my friend who always accompanies me on these challenges to be my support and my spotter. Thank you to @Challenges_Committee for putting this together and all the chatter, yes that even includes the blue toilet tent entry  I am looking forward to next years challenge.
Now I just need the weather to be reasonable for flying so I can continue growing in confidence.

I have found this very very interesting, humorous & have watched with great detail whilst having a right giggle to myself, I never thought / did not realise how hungry & lavish many of you are for it ā€œ so fairplay to you all ā€œ, myself also want to say a big thanks @Challenges_Committee & what hard work it must be over the last many weeks, also especially when decisions have to be made that may not go in the entrants favour but the rules are the rules I guess & easy makes no challenge whatsoever !
I remember a saying ā€œ rules are made to be broken quote American General - Douglas MacArthur ā€œ :joy:
Jokes aside no seriously it’s been great fun watching well done all & I know you will all appreciate a well deserved rest & truly deserved winners :partying_face::champagne:

Great job everyone! Well done John and Ian, especially - we felt the pressure throughout the last few weeks :slightly_smiling_face:. It feels wonderful to come second, but I would reiterate that it’s the taking part - getting out there flying and photographing - that’s the real fun.

That was the hardest challenge yet .Some of the shots took a lot of waiting the worst being 10 hours waiting over two days for a recovery truck to move a bus , or 4 visits to a Quarry to finally have the Conveyer belt working. I did not think I would get any were near the top three this year. as @DroneGeek @AdrianR and @Acedrone had some fantastic shots . Thanks to all that made the challenge possible, and all the participants

Well Done, @john768 @DroneGeek @AdrianR and all others who had a go.
I was only able to do ones the were local and easy, but it was good to have a thinking challenge.

Well done everybody. An especially huge well done to @DroneGeek, @AdrianR and @john768. It’s no mean feat to have collected all of the items, that’s a good job jobbed.

Also, massive thanks to the @Challenges_Committee for organising another excellent treasure hunt. I started out the challenge thinking I’d bag a couple of entries and get my name down near the bottom of the board like every other year, so to get fifth probably shows how caught up in it I got. Certainly pushed me to do a few things outside my comfort zone, that’s for sure.

My wife will be glad it’s all over for another year and I can stop listing the things I’m still looking for every time we head out in the car.

Well done the worthy winners, it takes a lot of effort to get there :+1:. I may have got a couple more if I hadn’t missed the final week by going on holiday but I’m in it for the fun, not the prizes.

Don’t be so sure. We still can’t stop spotting things we needed last year!

It might pay you to start counting in eights …

Well done everyone.
What devious scheming plans have the committee got for next year.
