The Great Big Non-Drone Photo Thread!

I have called this photo of a rare red deer called One in 3000. I was passing Ashridge Forest a few days ago and spotted a small number of deer running from a farmers field to bury themselves in the woodland.

Another taken prior to the one above.

After not being able to get on on Sunday night, I went out Aurora hunting last night. Going by the traffic on the A82 road to Loch Lomond, everyone else in Glasgow had the same idea, tenement tourists as one social media article called them. Don’t think I’ve ever seen traffic jams on Loch Lomondside at 9pm on a Monday night. Disappointing though, as after seeing all the dramatic images of the northern lights from Sunday night, all I got was this…

Nikon Z6II - 10secs @ f4, 800iso.

I was running some landscape training yesterday morning, first stop was Kilchurn Castle on Loch Awe and it was minus 6

This first photo was shot at 07:05 - Nikon Z6II - f18, 100iso.

15 mins later the sun came up over the edge of the hills to our right, along with a breeze…

Although the second image has great light, I much prefer the first image with flatter light and perfect reflections.

Does he need to fix a front number plate each time he goes out?

Theres one permanently attached I just removed it because it looks shit

I agree @McSteamy2010 mate… Supercars should be excluded from having front number plates. It seriously spoils the aesthetics.

Much like superbikes should be excluded from 186mph speed restrictions. It seriously spoils the aesthetics fun.
