The Great Big Non-Drone Photo Thread!

trying to get a shot of an FPV 5" quad is bloody difficult.

Just found this thread scrolling through so I’ll sprinkle some of the pictures I’ve taken over the last year or so

from my hometown of Herne Bay. I’m hoping my Mini 4 Pro will allow me to get so much more.

@Kings Love to know your settings for the 1st one Jim? I Had an ND1000 on the other day taking a pic of a waterfall. Had the lowest ISO I could get away with that actually give me something to look at on the screen and shutter speed was about 1 or 2" . Didn’t cut it but took one with auto and it worked. :hugs:

Fantastic shots mate

This was taken with no ND filter as didn’t have my tripod at the time, settings are in pic below :+1:t3:

@Kings Nice one cheers Jim. :+1:

Sunrise at a place that is very local to me and one of my favourite areas to walk or just chill. This is better known locally as Three Cliffs Bay. If you are from outside the area then Southerndown is the nearest place.

p.s. captured in 2020 but only just getting aroudn to looking at some of my shoots from then!

A first for me, have wanted to see these birds for such a long time, but we always had conflicting schedules.
The Waxwings have arrived in the UK in their thousands this year, all the way from Scandinavia to feast on the abundant rowan berries growing on our shores!
Usually ib supermarket carparks

So many people just walk past, just completely oblivious. This was a flock of probably 100 birds that just descended and started ripping apart a rowan tree, making some racket in the process, folk were far more interested in the weirdo sitting on the ground with a camera

Where was this?

Thanks.

Here is a Flooded Glade taken close by.

Anne and I take many pix around the local Cheddington and Chesham areas as she is keen on Red Kites and wild life in general. I find the drones help me with my walking as the years pass by.

After nearly cacking me sen, trying to avoid kite strings, waves and wind, I pulled out the Nikon.
did a slight paddle and took some ground shots of the surfers on the bay today.
