Just parked up at Merseyway in Stockport and this was heading straight overhead on its way into Manchester. Taken with the 8X zoom on the iPhone 17 pro.

Took this on my phone this afternoon. Had been flying over Fratton railway station and sidings. It had two thin tail fins top and bottom but guessing these were to stable the wing on landing picture taken as it was descending to land.

I had an hour to kill in Glasgow this morning so took a wander down to the Clydeside. It was cold, but the light as great. Some pics from my Nikon Z6 III and 50mm 1.8 lens. The panoramas are made up of 7 upright images, overlapping each frame by about 30%. It’s a great way to shoot architectural panos with a 50mm lens, avoids converging verticals, makes for tack sharp images and the files are huge.

Some great shots on this thread. This is one of mine.

I used to live in Dubai and worked as a pro photog as well as IT in the Public Security space.

It took 3 years to get this shot….. I saw the opportunity but the area was surround by a high fence. I figured not the place to climb over the fence as its the oldest archeological site in Dubai. 2 years after seeing it I mentioned it to a friend and he said you can go in but only in the mornings during the week. The next morning I was there and could not believe my luck as I pulled up by the site. Great skies which is unusual and the site only had this low layer over fog over it as it was early morning. I got the shot and felt very pleased with it. A year later there was a competition by the Hamdam International Photography Award org and I was working with B&W then so created this B&W version and entered the comp.

I received an award and the shot was used to promote and celebrate the UAE National Day.

Taken with a Canon 6D & 17-40 lens, not the most expensive DSLR but the shot speaks for itself IMHO….. a couple more to follow…. My first Aerial shot next
