When I saw Jupiter &85 mm I thought initially of the old Russian rangefinder camera (a Leica copy).:joy_cat:

It is an old Soviet lens, their copy of a German Zeiss lens, made in various SLR and rangefinder mounts
Mine happens to be an M42 thread mount

That takes me back to my old Zenith TTL / Helios combo days ;o)

I got a Helios too
I think pretty much everyone that uses vintage glass on modern mirrorless has one

I had a Zenith B as a first intro into photography, shot black & white and developed my own. Had to be very careful winding on film or it tore it. That was replaced by a Nikormat ftn was a great little camera, solid as a rock. Used Nikon ever since.

I started with a Canon T80 and a T70, had a darkroom at my nana’s
Mainly used it for enlargements rather than full development tho

Just thought that people might like to see this shot of the Vulcan. Taken at Weston-Super-Mare in June 2015 from Brean Down.

Such a shame technology hasn’t advanced to the point where we can get sound on a photograph

That would blow most PC/phone speakers!

Awesome experience when one flew past.

I captured this image from the same year but at Fairford international air Tattoo along with the iconic Red Arrows.

Seeing the Red Arrows above made me search for this pic taken at the Bristol Balloon festival 14th August 2011, 9 days before the tragic crash after the Bournemouth air show in which Flight Lieutenant Jon Egging died.

I believe he flew on the right side of the “Diamond Nine” formation so assume he is in this pic.

That reminds me of some photos I took early last year, Lancaster canal on a misty evening.
