Some more photos from my recent trip to Belfast. All shot on a Nikon Z6III and 35mm f1.8 lens. The panos were created by shooting upright images and stitching them together.
You’re not going to lose that one in a car park - especially with the fluorescent green brake calipers
Great capture though John

Out for my daily ‘podcast’ walk, spotted this today - this kind of thing annoys me more than it should. Not the wording, the off centre mounting of said sign
Touchee your framing Dave ;o)
I was going for the arty look……..
Had an ‘oh my god it’s early’ start this morning down to this little beastie:
It is actually sited on working farmland, so normally only available to see from a distance. Today was a dedicated ‘open day’ where you can get ‘up close and personal’ with it - well, as up close and personal you can get with something 15 metres in the air.
It’s a 1:1 scale of a Lancaster Bomber, weighs approx 100 ton and has a approx 1000 ton concrete and steel foundational support
From a distance
Up close
Has he not got permission for his car park yet ?
Still in the pipeline I think. At the minute there’s a small area, maybe about 15-20 cars worth that’s hard-cored, and a larger grassed area roped off. Approx 500m walk from car park to the sculpture, well compacted hard core and suitable for wheelchair/mobility scooter users
This came up in my photo memories from ten years ago today…
