Thank you to everyone who submitted entries, this has been a great treasure hunt!
Congrats to the winners and thanks to the committee for running the event…here’s to the next. Take care. Peter
Again thanks to the committee for coming up with such a challenging set of “treasures” and for all the hard work running this. It really helped motivate me to get out and about but it was a real surprise to do well, that was just a bonus. Given the number of times I ran out of battery (I only have two), I know exactly what my prize is going towards!
One suggestion to consider for next year to help encourage more entries and people to persevere: a bonus prize awarded to an entrant chosen randomly but like a raffle - with a number of chances equal to their points score. Not available to the top three, of course.
Now the dust has settled Dave are you going to let us know where the ploughing match was that we all missed?
good work everyone especially @Steviegeek, @McSteamy2010 and @kvetner
and a big thanks to the committee for organising and keeping it running
Well done Steve congratulations on winning also like to thank the committee for coming up with good challenge like this also everybody how took part looking forward to next years challenge.
Thanks guys,
Again a massive well done to all that entered, there were some amazing contributions.
Loved working from the list and having reasons to go and fly in places I’d never of thought of.
Big congrats to @Steviegeek for taking top spot.
Well done to @kvetner for joining me on 2nd
And @macspite for keeping the pressure on
Well done winners can’t wait for next one
Just in case anyone was wondering what the winner was in the reverse challenge … the winner was … golf courses, which attracted drone photographers like flies on
.
Well done to sewerage treatment plants and cows in fields for running a close second, though.
Commiserations to ploughing competitions for failing to find a single photographer
.
As a spectator to the competition I’ve not only enjoyed many of the entries posted, but also the efforts some of the participants to actually get them. Thanks to everyone who took part and the organisers. It’s been fun to watch.
That is really interesting, and throws up some surprises…
Eddie Stobart only 4 ?
Motorways and railway lines only 5 ?
Beach huts is high considering only coastal, shows a lot of people were prepared to travel.
@kvetner thanks for compiling
Monkey puzzle were quite popular. I’d never even heard of the things before this comp
@Committee
I agree, that’s a good suggestion especially the “with a number of chances equal to their points score” bit
Cheers
Steve

Also a suggestion box, for people to add their own (1 per person) suggestion for a treasure. May help ease the pressure of the committee.
This being said, this years treasure list was spot on. ![]()
Not forgetting it’s GADC birthday. ![]()
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GADC ![]()
Such a great club and place to hang out and talk to some good guys. Heres to many more years ![]()
Knowing which item was chosen by which committee member that’s a very interesting graph
