Not the Edwardian monstrosity in Beaumaris, but an earlier one hidden in woodlands near Penmon, Anglesey. This takes some finding and climbing but is well worth the midge battle once at the top. Invisible from all around these days as the woodland has grown but once it had commanding views 360 degrees. I just couldn’t get any higher as the winds were battering the MPP once above the tree line but it had a damn good go at fighting back.
