The “clone” drones also use the same chipset and proprietary OcuSync
DJI are going to have to say something official, and soon, they can’t ignore all this evidence

My money is on them doing this to side step their upcoming ban, not for publicity.
That’s pretty much the exact opposite of what they’d need for this plan to succeed
It’s not a plan as they knew this would happen
They could have given their tech to another drone manufacturer so they could build something similar but not a DJI
These are a DJI in every sense
Also worth a mention, not a single one of these “alternative” products is shipping with the RC-Nx, they’re all only available with the RCx.
Which means DJI are in end-to-end control of the hardware and software, they don’t need to run a single app past Apple or Google for code inspection, scrutiny or verification.
The DJI branded stuff is bad enough, I can’t imaging what other data these things are harvesting in the background
