Stick at it Brendan mate. Look through the gap as you approach it and you wont hit the sides. It works

The irony here is that as a camera-drone flyer I’d never be able to hit that crossbar even if I tried 
Youre doing great mate, good to see you have no fear of trying things 
Occasionally I can actually make a gap.
Using RunCam with gyroflow to stabilise the video.

Managed to break my gimbal on Monday. Filmed round a war memorial in my home town. Light winds , with gust of 20mph ( seaside town) . Was landing my drone about a foot and a half away from some railings, when a sudden gust caused one of the props to contact the railing. M3P dropped onto a paved area head first. Now in for repair under insurance at Heliguy. Hoping it’s back soon

Sorry to hear of the crash, been there myself recently, although from a little bit higher up… It will soon be back, the DJI team are excellent…

Nothing some Uhu Por won’t fix, I do need to work out why I lost my WS video feed though…
The fun of losing video mod flight. And think back of my ranger more uhu por than foam now!
This thread seems to have died a bit. Has everyone got better at flying or less adventurous ?
Or are they just disarming mid-flight these days and not catching it on video.
