So, since joining this club I seem to be just resurrecting old threads 
I’d never heard of Resovle before but it looks the business. After I’ve added all the sequential shots into the media pool, it plays them back but at the same speed I took them (i.e. change every 5 seconds). Have I done something obvious and stupid here?
Default still “duration” in DaVinci Resolve can be changes thus …
Actually - whilst that’s the easiest - one can sort the images before dragging to the timeline - by various factors, but “Date Modified” is the best since (unlike “Date Created / Added”) doesn’t change with copying around drives.
Thanks for that! I tried to follow other tutorials on YT, etc without any luck, but that’s done it!
I new you could do it through the fly app ok with skypixels help lol
