Did a great session this morning over by the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.
(And before the banter stars, I literally cannot stand footie, although the wife and daughter are avid Spurs fans - they were in Bilbao last week while I was home minding the cat).
Did a full four battery shoot, so have lots of videos to edit down, including a course lock timelapse over the stadium. They are in the process of setting up a stage on the pitch, so there was no grass to see. I started at around 7.45am, and there were a lot of birds circling, but they all seemed to be at around 70-80m. I went straight up to 120m (which you really need over a structure this size!) and had no bother.
TOAL: Whitehall Road, which is directly in front of the stadium and by the Harry Kane mural.
Had no issues during the flight. A couple of guys in a van were interested, just asking questions about the drone, and as I was coming into land a woman who walked by (after it landed) joked that she thought it was a bird, but no-one seemed bothered.
Parking was a slight issue, as the parking restrictions kick in at 8am, but I found a parking bay in Love Lane, right by the White Hart Lane station, so it was all good. (Also, when I was looking for somewhere to the south of the stadium to park there were a couple of people that looked like they were off their faces on something, so I made a sharp exit from that area!)
