I bought this UAVMODS adaptor in 2019 but have only used it once. Having now sold my Mavic Pro Platinum, I have no need for it anymore.
This adaptor allows you to obtain a wider range and increased flight time with this XT60 connection battery adaptor fitted along with one or two aux batteries (not supplied).
There is no need to modify the Mavic at all. The adaptor simply fits onto the the Mavics existing battery connections.
You will require 1 or 2 aux batteries (not supplied). I ran it with two 1500mAh Lipo’s.
UAVMODS suggest using two 1600mah/3000mah 3S LIHV batteries. These can be purchased separately from Hobbyking or elsewhere.
There is also an LED light on the adaptor so you know when to connect the aux batteries.

Don’t suppose you’ve come across any 3D printed dual-battery holders to use along side this? :thinking:

I could run just a velcro strap, but… :blush:

FYI, short term, this is great for extended flight times but longer term I can’t help thinking this will be an absolute drone life saver when the existing batteries finally give up the ghost.
