When I booted BF up this morning* it told me there was a new version and I should upgrade to make sure I’m getting best performance, not losing functionality, blah, blah, blah…
Working on the principal of, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” I have ignored this advice.
Any compelling reason why I should?
[* I’ve updated the Croc to Crossfire. 
Went really well, although I’m considering getting some of these so I can actually see what I’m doing.]
Are you talking firmware or application?
In the last Betaflight Application there was a bug relating to firmware upgrading, whereby it would appear to freeze during the upload when it was actually taking a ridiculous amount of time.
Application (I’m on 10.7.0). The website says it’s a maintenance release - just bug fixes. As everything seems to be working as it should I’m tempted to just leave this one.
I’d definitely update the Betaflight configurator, I wouldn’t bother updating the firmware on your quads if they are working
