Vista issue

Have you set up your configuration tab and selected SBUS for the receiver type?

Did you rewire the plug end or is that an old photo?

No that’s how they are now

Ok so that looks like your rx and tx are the wrong way but the sbus and 10V are correct. Can you post a photo of your ports tab and like Deano said have you selected Sbus in your configuration tab?

Swap them

UART1 should be serial RX and UART3 should be MSP

So that’s wrong. You need uart 1 set to serial rx and uart 3 set to msp. Then you need to swap the yellow/ white rx/tx wires on the Vista

These 2 over ?

No the 2 in the middle (rx/tx) wires :+1:t2:

The white and yellow next to each other :+1:t3:

The first yellow wire is correct that’s your SBUS wire. Swap the other yellow wire with the white wire.

Although that will only effect your OSD and not your control link

Thanks guys much appreciated I will swop them over tomorrow, need a beer and laydown in a dark room :exploding_head: :exploding_head:

On a happier note I was down the power station and did 4 packs practising the dreaded split S and gotta say I pulled a couple off :grinning:

Mind you the old Nazgal is looking worst for it …lol

Have one for us too  Should be up and running tomorrow :+1:t2: Presumably that’s sorted out your receiver now?

Well swopped them round and still nothing, starting to wonder if it is me or I have a faulty stack.

Really starting to run out of options and things to try.

When you changed the uarts in the ports tab did you save before exiting?

If the wiring is correct, uart 1 is set to serial rx and you have sbus selected as the receiver type in the configuration tab it should be working :exploding_head: So now thats all setup correctly are you still not getting stick movement in your receiver tab when the lipo is connected?

@BigDog If I had the knowledge of your quad and of BetaFlight I would try to help but sorry I don’t

If I could I would set up a few hours one night, and log in to your PC with Team Viewer and maybe between us it could easily be sorted

Maybe one of the others could offer this option?

Just asking, as technical support is difficult to translate across! and is far easier if the person that has the skills also has the control of the PC

Just saying

Thats a great idea Wayne :bulb: I can’t do it now but I might be able to do that this evening. Or failing that we are going to be in Milton Keynes for a meet tomorrow if you can make it @BigDog ?

One thing I’m wondering is with the wiring around the wrong way originally, did putting 10V on the Sbus line blow the receiver in the Vista?
