Warburton and the Cheshire countryside

Fabulous Cheshire countryside and a perfect flying day. The long view up the Manchester Ship Canal and All the way past Warrington and up to Fiddlers Ferry cooling towers which closed earlier this year.

Great images Alec well captured.

I have just realised that if I zoom in on the ship canal photo and look to the left of the cooling towers, I can clearly make out the new Runcorn bridge some 13 miles away.
Gobsmacked.

I remember photographing the clouds of water vapour coming out of Fidlers Ferry Towers from the Daresbury Science Labs a long time back. From Daresbury they looked pretty awesome on the horizon at sunset.
