Hey @milkmanchris, looked at Article 16, it’s a really good option. I’m looking to start building a bit of a sideline in commercial drone flying, it’s a bit of early retirement planning! I’ve got my A2 CofC now and now working on my GVC.
Getting my causal flying done with my mini2, the mavic 2 pro is getting some more run out under A16 and A2CoC legacy, and doing a few bits of commercial now that I have commercial insurance in place. It’s good to have all the options in place so that I can chose the right regs depending on why I’m flying. Also planning a head as not clear what’s going to happen to the transitional rules after the end of 2022. At least the GVC gives some options. Expect that A16, will be renewed at the end of the year.
