When is a sale NOT really a sale?

Just buy it - tech like this will attract static retail
prices - how many weeks have you procrastinated? That’s a lot of flying time missed…

Can anyone remember a time when DJI have discounted their current-model drones on Black Friday?

History tells us you might get a discount on a Mini 3 model, or the Mini 4K, or some accessories or on their action camera range, etc.

But I don’t recall DJI ever reducing the price on their A-list model drones for Black Friday

The Camel^3 link above suggests it did happen last year … on Amazon, at least.

Are you sure?

Black Friday was on 24th November last year, that graph says the price dropped at Amazon the following week, on 28th November?

Once everyone had spent their money, thanks Bezos

And this year it’s supposedly on 29th … but there are plenty of BF deals to be had already.

It seems to be all/any of November, these days.

Like Christmas seems to start in about April …

Hopefully the same will happen to BF. :+1:

I did exactly what @yorkie9668 Mark did for the Air 3s combo, but took out the 9 months 44% credit and paid the balance of 1155 2 days later. I got 20% which equated to :grin:£287:grin::grin: off. Bargain

It’s like a sale, all through the year!

Procrastination included convincing the wife too. That took a bot of time and bribery

That’s Cyber Monday, otherwise known as Black Friday pt 2

The best way to work it is take 6/9/12 months BNPL and pay it off in 3 payments (set up a DD)

Within a couple of months you’ll get sent another 20% voucher, they are teasing you into missing payments, I’ve had 3 drones and lots more besides on 20% off.

You paying in full does not interest them, they want part payers on 44%, I’m teasing them ;o)

Thing is for me… I just don’t want another company getting all my details. I assume you would have to fill in forms and enter into a hire purchase type scenario.
I will hope get a few quid off on the “black friday” w/e. If not I’m, sure Amazon will go back to the £929 then I just pay one one go

Yes you have to go through a credit check, but they are not all bad

I trust people like that with my data more than I trust Meta or (especially) DJI

In reality Equifax, Experian, et al, will already have waaaaayyy more data on you, than you have on you

You can’t take it with you

This is where I’ve gone wrong :face_with_peeking_eye: I paid as soon as I had it in my possession.

I’ve been logging in adding to basket and had emails reminding me then i remove it and nothing and clicking only DJI links and I get a email saying noticed you looking at item but still no vouchers :sob:

And they like me that much……

To reiterate I’ve always paid in full before the interest free period ends , but done it in bits

I did exactly the same with 3 of my drones, Mini2 (which I sold and then paid that cash straight off the upgrade to…), Mini3 Pro, then the Avata2.

But for the Neo, I used pay-in-3 via palpay.

As long as you pay them to ff before the 0% ends, it doesn’t cost you.

I’m buying the drone last weekend in November sale or no sale. Then, I can take the drone with me

Having designed websites for companies I know how lax some of them can be with people’s data and that is why I limit where I give out information…… especially debit card details.
