When is a sale NOT really a sale? When it’s Black Friday sale?
I am intending to buy a DJI Mini 4 Pro Fly More Combo Drone with DJI RC2. For a good number of weeks I have been searching for the best price and decided to wait until Black Friday to hopefully save a few quid.
For as long as I remember, Amazon have had this up for sale for £929.
Now, in the lead up to 29th November 2024, which is the supposed Black Friday Sale, they have it now up at £979.
No doubt it will drop on “Black Friday”.
Currys and Argos have done more or less, exactly the same thing. People think they are getting bargains on these supposed sale dates but it is just a joke.

DJI fix their prices, they alone decide when an item goes on sale, for how much and for how long.

Which is why it’s always the same price in Argos, Currys, Amazon et al.

No do what I do, you have to accept 12 months buy now pay later, within 30 days you will be given the 10% back as credit, then just pay the balance with no fee’s

Today is the last day of 10% off mind, I do it with all my purchases with Very, never paid a penny in interest in over 8 years

Whatever the price, as above they are fixed by DJI.

But, with the discount you could get from Drone Safe Store, by becoming a GADC member, the cost of the membership, would be more than covered and give you even more benefits on GADC and Drone Scene. :+1:

I 100% with you,

I thought I took out neo combi with 10% offer on 1st October but nothing changed on the account as I paid in full as soon as it arrived and 1p in credit now :grin: checked BNPL and nothing shown there.

I’ve had 20% offers in the year I’ve been with them and hoping for another 20% soon as I would then buy the air3s saving £290 :love_you_gesture::love_you_gesture::love_you_gesture::love_you_gesture:

Neo combi without FPV controller £449.00 just released via Very at this moment.

You can get 20% off the first time when signing up, I did that a few weeks ago for my Mini 4 Pro fly more. Paid in full immediately, didn’t use the credit.

Not really. For the majority of the past year the price has been £979. Only since August has it been hitting £929.

And last Black Friday it was £899.

I only remember for a few months back. Didn’t start looking until a few months ago… so it was as long as I remembered. Maybe on Black Friday I might get it for £890 ish

Black Friday has turned into Black November. It used to be a genuine sale day, but I’m sure that many retailers use it as a day to clear out old stock and special purchases, bought in on the cheap for the day. Long gone are the days when folk used to queue outside large stores for days to grab a bargain in a New Year Sale.
