I fly in Scotland and there are thousands of suitable areas - rivers, lochs, sea coast and of course mountain areas with very few people about. Prefer over the water on a calm day as its much safer than you may think. Its a shame that for the rest of the country its getting harder to find flying areas judging by the responses on this site. Chillblanes are killing me mind you!
