I’ve received this from Derby Airfield, all clear to go tomorrow (Wed 1st) :+1: :+1: :+1:

We are officially closed until January 2 2020. Ordinarily we request;

  1. Evidence of insurance cover.
  2. Pilot PFCO.
  3. Type and weight of drone
  4. Contact telephone number of the pilot.
  5. Airborne times – a call to say you are taking off and another call when you have landed for each and every flight. We treat the drones as if it was an aircraft in radio contact and informing us of the usual circuit calls.
    For the days you mention there is obviously no problem.

Its on my list, but given it takes an hour per unit of alcohol to get out of your system I’ll be safe for March onwards.
