Talking of Vulcan Howl or F35 … just heard the most incredible noise from a Gulfstream G600 as it hit the throttles for take-off at Southampton.

I used to live as a child along the in ward flight path, just between austerfild and misson. They flew that low we used to wave and of course they waved back. The noise and ground rumble as they flew over. Precious memories.

That noise and tone will live with you forever, until that is if you ever hear it again. They have unmistakable sounds some air craft.
