Here we go then.
Given the weather forcast this weekend i knew yesterday would be my only chance. So, i got up early and headed out to The 1930s Water Tower on Ashlawn Road, Rugby, i got there early and hoped for some sort of amazing sunrise like we had at Chatterly the other other week but alas it never arrived.
So here is my short clip of The 1930s Water Tower on Ashlawn Road, Rugby. Its dull, dingy and in low light. Not what i hoped for but looks like its all i will muster for the first phase.

Do you have a link to information that shows this water tower is Abandoned?
Now thats a question as i could not find any info in the quick search i did.
Some evidence that it’s abandoned/disused will be needed for it to be a valid entry.
I struggled to pick one for this … knowing full well that yesterday morning was my only opportunity time and weather wise, I literally flew out the house to spend an hour or so at two locations …
In the end, I went with this pano of the very much abandoned Tranch Pyle lime quarry… I’ll post a few more in their own thread.

I know a lot of iron ore mining used to be done in this part of the world, so would imagine it’s that, but the honest answer is I don’t know
