If you haven’t already, take a look at the Map of Members. This is a relatively new feature so not everyone is on there as yet, but I’m sure there are other members in your neck of the woods that will come and say Hi that may also have ideas on locations.

I’m originally from Maryport but now live in Essex. I’ll definitely be bringing my drone with me next time I visit family.
Hi Ian glad you liked it, I got that with my phantom 3 standard but I recently got a Mavic air purely for portability reasons. You know what it’s like up here if out on the fells for a day need to carry more than just a drone. Didn’t get an ice-cream this time but do like the rum and raisins, mint choc chips. Bit of a cultural change down there, don’t you miss Cumbria?
Allonby coast line and Bassenthwaite lake. Had a visit last week and had to get the drone up.

Welcome home nice shots, looks a bit misty over Bass but clear on the coast, often like that.
Hello mate. Bass was the day after and it was trying to snow. So I didn’t want to fly for too long. It was straight up a few shots taken then straight back down. I wasn’t going to risk flying over the lake.
