Does it…? Autel have been throwing these to youtubers all over the place so reviews could be a little subjective… and I had read it’s not so hot in wind…
This company has been completing preorders.
@firstadekit I ordered from them, they quote UK stock and 3-5 day delivery, 2 days after ordering I get an email saying delivery estimated 26 April - 1st May. The website is a con, they are based in China. I am trying to get my money back. PS I ordered from them as my trip to the US in May has been cancelled.
I’m glad I put apparently on the post.
Pretty crappy tactic. Hope you get your money back.
42 min review all I want to know is it its good which can be said in 15 minutes.
Okay, let me rephrase that and say remarkable photographic and video capabilities, especially considering it’s size, even though Autel don’t appear to care sufficiently for their potential European customers to set up any kind of support for their products.
Does it have any features or capabilities above my Mini2 that would justify the difference in price?
Short answer, No.
I also see that the specs only state the FCC range, and an EIRP of 30dBm (1Watt ). That’s some high gain antenna if it’s 25mW input.
Exactly. £250 more for the Nano+. Is the camera really that much better? And even if it is, what use if it’s blown away on a breeze and there’s no European support… My Nano+ order is now cancelled and I’m waiting for the Mini 3. I may well still get the Nano +, but I’m sure as hell not parting with £850 just a few weeks before we get to see what the Mini 3 will have…
Skip to the last 5 mins.
Hmm, it would have been a better test if 2 pilots took both drones up at the same time. Strong wind changes speed and direction very quickly, with gusts out of nowhere. It would be very difficult to get the exact same conditions even 5 minutes apart.
And to answer GHR’s question - I trust the Mini 2
The defence rests your honour
Obviously biased, since I have spent quite a bit of time with the Mini 2 in high wind. But I also watched these 2 vids below a while back (whilst waiting impatiently for the Mini 3), which does seem to suggest that the Nano+ is less stable in than the Mini 2. Or at least that’s my take away
Apparently since those videos there has been two updates and the wind stability has improved,
I would just like to get my hands on one to test it here against my Mini 2 because it is always windy in Blackpool.
I lost count of the number of times I got blown off the sea wall between Cleveleys and Rossal Beach.
It only takes one bang to the head …
Gotta love those East Lancs girls
That’s the value of a Barm Cake and chips when used as a currency.
Inflation has hit, you now have to throw in a Maccy D with the barm cake.
