Anyway - far more to the point - why were you flat out 1ft above the water … Mr Callum Ekranoplan?
Was trying out 1080/60 and 120
Thought the fast moving surface of the water would be a nice test.
Didn’t realise I was that low until I checked the log. -11ft and I was standing about 10ft up on road.
I’m surprised it got as low as that, do they not pause a few ft up when you bring them down?
Yeah - 2 ft would have been as good a test!
If sensors are on … but I can imagine it can easily be confused at high speed over rippled water … bad IR/Ultrasonic reflections.
Definitely gonna have to take the downhill route with 100mph tail wind to beat that baby!!!
Expensive non-returning M2P option. Expensive!
Need to find a golf range with loads of catch netting!
What can go wrong?
Might be easier to drop off a cliff with a trampoline at the bottom
Vertical speed doesn’t count … GPS speed is horizontal speed only.
Oh!!! LOL…I’ll not bother then
What I’m working on at the moment should do over 100mph. Of course it may do 100mph as a ball of fire but as long as I can get dvr of it breaking that speed then I won’t care at all
Fly in reverse … the video of the smoke and flames will be far better!
Hmmm cheater quad…
Betaflight can be set to show 3d speed if I remember? Power dive?
Sonic boom?
Was out with the M2P today trying to get a fast run, only managed 45.5mph
But looking back through my records I did find this with the Inspire 2
You’ve beat your own record by 0.07mph.
What size is the battery in your inspire 2?
@mickydd replaces @Njoro for the Inspire 2 record and takes 4th spot on the updated leaderboard.
This also gets @mickydd the Speed Freak Badge.
Just the standard pair of TB50 batteries, but very low use/charges
Cheers Dave, is there a prize?
A pie or something
Jees! They’re expensive! 6s ~4000mah for £170.
