Ian, Mad Tech on YouTube, gave an interesting account of DJI’s history with their software, in his latest upload.
Hmmm…
So on the Air 2 page it is 1.2.4 as latest version for Android - but on Mini 2 it is 1.3.0
Anyone know i the Air 2 will work on 1.3.0? Seems a bit odd…
But there isn’t an Android 1.3.0 … see above.
It is one app - it will work for all drones that use the Fly app.
ah okay - didn’t quite understand. I do now
also 1.3 FLP APP IS OUT but will take you to tthe 1.2.4 update currently some people can download it though
Here fishy fishy
i cant even see that even if i go that page etc just shows 1.2.5
Lol
I want the Mavic Pro 3
Will probably sell my Air 2 at that point.
This is weird because if you go to the link you have provided it does show that DJI Fly app for Mini 2 is v1.3.0
But if you change it to MA2 it shows v1.2.4.
Think that have caught us all hook line and sinker.
Want to be even more confused?
Go to the actual DJI Fly app page:
https://www.dji.com/uk/downloads/djiapp/dji-fly
Yup, it’s still on v1.2.4
Fucking unreal
Gavin spotted it today GAVINHR
Unfortunately it doesn’t work anymore they must have put the breaks on it very quickly
the app is now on 1.3 i have just downloaded itt on ANDROID
Also available on iOS now too
Seeing as 1.3.0 appears to be primarily fro FPV compatibility, I think I’ll give it a miss until some in-field experience confirms it hasn’t screwed up the Mini/2/Air2
Apple app store is showing 1.3.1 is now available for the DJI Fly app.
HOWEVER - the DJI Download Centre is still showing it at 1.3.0 - for both IOS and Android
Thanks for the heads up @Jhdee - looks like a patch release, nothing new
