Hi guys i had mini 2 out with new dji app update can report no problems with transmission 
Ditto Collin updated mine last night and had test flight today all seem’s fine with the mini no issues i can see.

Was meant too say yesterday, screen blacked out on the fly app V 1.6.9 iOS for a good 15 too 30 seconds & nothing would respond, had to restart the app when it would finally let me, it also then froze so I had to restart the app ”Again”. This then took me too or through rather, the whole procedure of having to put your preferred settings right within the app, also playing you the tutorial as if you was a beginner,
It’s getting a bit naughty,
I think I might have mentioned a while ago, maybe the app is not supported properly anymore but I can’t answer that as I don’t know.

New DJI fly app 1.9.4, for iOS & andriod, adds support for the mini 2 se & optimises overall app.
Optimise overall app translates to we’ve made changes for a new drone, they may improve things for your older drone but they may also screw it up.
I have updated my tablet to 1.9.4, it told me there was an update available when I switched it on. But my RC controller is on 1.9.1 and says there is no update available?
I don’t know much about the app update / updates, I was just letting those know who needs or wants to know, don’t quote me on this but, if your referring to the RC with the built in screen, I think from what I have seen recent, the update for that usually comes a bit later after the initial app update for iOS & or android devices, i e phone tablet, if that makes sense, again don’t quote me on that but I think I have seen that somewhere .
Edit, maybe that comes with a firmware update for the RC
