Will you lot stop posting all your shiney new Mavic Mini toys, I’ve actually looked at the stock in all the Argos stores near me and “luckily” they have no stock.
I know I said I wouldn’t want one but look how cute they look :blush: :heart_eyes:

Charged it all last night, shall power it up for the first time tonight and calibrate everything.

We’re on a late start job tomorrow so weather permitting I’ll have time to take it for a test flight in the morning :+1:t2:

I need a name for the Mavic Mini :thinking:

The Mavic is called Thunderbird 3, as it’s my third Mavic Pro.

The Inspire is called Enterprise, as it’s about the same size as its starship namesake :blush:

What to call the Mini? :man_shrugging:

Some controller observations:

  • Phone connector doesn’t have the slidey clipy thingy in the left arm like the MP does. Although it looks like a MP one would fit. Not a prob, never used it on the MP anyway.
  • No sport mode switch on the right
  • No full size USB port on the bottom
  • No wheel on the right side for EV :scream:
  • No C1 and C2 buttons on the bottom :scream:
  • Stupid double sided usb connector port on the left meaning dabs of nail polish required on the cable plugs to show the right way up :man_facepalming:

How does that stack up to the Spark or Air controllers? Are they the same?

Just to clarify, it’s the same port as used on the MP, the one that allows people to insert the connector the wrong way up with very little effort and fuck everything up completely :confused:
