For some reason when I read this I read it to the rhythm of Billy Joel’s “We didn’t start the Fire”
Also it looks like it’s easily scuffed when landing or they’ve resorted to 3D printing the shells out of 2nd rate filament.

what I’m waiting on
I think it looks like they have already crashed it and just pushed all the bits back together.
It’s an ugly looking thing.
OA is not my barrow, never really used it and dont rely on it. You get some far better shots with it turned off.
As @milkmanchris says. Probably be about £1k.
With arsenal I already have I can’t see where it will fit in.
Have to wait and see
I can
In your stable or mine?
I’m siding more on the Autel Nano side
If @ianinlondon ever gets his delivered and ups his review
Camera specs will be the decider for me I think
Hope it is released before I sell my RC Pro, might be a game changer
Ditto. I’ll be looking at reviews of both before deciding if either are worth the upgrade or to just stick. The pro controller may steal the deal for me. I want to ditch using my phone without adding another iPad to my inventory.

I can’t see myself going for this Mini 3. I’m not going to say it’s going to be a bad product as most likely it won’t be. If do, however, see DJI imposing over reaching limits in its use on its customers, as they have recently done with most of their current range.
As a sub-250g camera drone for occasional use the Mini2 is still, and will be for a long time to come, more than enough for me.
I shall sit tight with my mini 2 for a while longer having seen this, very nearly bought the Autel late last week as they had UK stock but with work I’m out and about all next week so wouldn’t have been in for a delivery so I held off pressing buy! really hope they up the camera quality on any new version.
I’ll be keeping my 2 until it needs replacing. I wouldn’t put my trust in collision sensors unless they’re at least all round, above & below as well preferably. There’s also nothing wrong with the 2’s camera for my purpose which is mainly a reason to get off my backside and go for a walk.
Nice to finally see some UK stock… If we didn’t know about the Mini 3 I might be tempted… Sitting tight for a week or three…
Camera is everything for me, they can keep there objects avoidance.
If the camera is much better than i will most likely get one.
I have not experienced this flight restrictions where no CAA fly zones exist.
Is there a tread on this?

As Rich says … there is NO (logical/overlaying/common) link between DJI’s Geo Zones (not law!) and UK FRZs (law!) A randomly chosen location … Law! FRZs! [Screenshot 2021-01-05 16.03.28] Not Law! DGI Geo Zones [Screenshot 2021-01-05 16.04.06] Have a good read of Can you fly? DJI NFZs v UK FRZs and other Air Space.
… and the rest of that thread is worth a read.
Also - use dronescene.co.uk with just the FRZs and DJI Geozones visible … then switch on/off the DJI layer to highlight the differences.

The camera isn’t that much better on the Autel… If it’s everything for you, surely you’re better going Air 2S?
I do most of my flying in Manchester City Centre so the sub 250g cat just gives me that extra freedom.
Gimbal protection?
