PM’d you Mark

Have a look at this airdata log from this morning . Everything is up to date re:FW and App. Apalling. Thought drone was lost, on top of everything the App froze. I never rely on RTH, always fly back somehow… got it back but finished flying it . Refund or fix it. Forwarded to Dji on my open case.

Well, I took the plunge ordered with Fly More kit from Amazon. Both will arrive tomorrow and added Freewell ND filter kit which will arrive on 15th, just in time for my vacation!

They seem to have enough fly more kits available to offer next day delivery on them.

You can buy my fly more kit if you can keep it in the air long enough🤣

That’s really bad @Kellybob, not flown mine properly yet since the update so I hope I don’t get the same issues you did.

I may hold you onto that :grinning: I am counting on them to sort issues out through firmware & software updates. I’d gone for Autel Nano+ but the issue with them is there are practically no (3rd party) accessories available :frowning:

Are you using the new RC?

Yes.

Oh by the way… When you’re map won’t load via WiFi, this is why.

Over a year of owning a mini 2 and no crashes. A month of the mini 3. 4th flight maybe. Crashed. Gimbal broke. Already on its way back to DJI. Gimbal seems quite weak so yeah. Don’t crash it.

Side ways clipped a tree at about 20 metres high. didn’t think I was as close to it as I was. Totally on me. Roll on mini 4 with sideways obstacle avoidance.

Put the M3 on the shelf till a proper fix is found or they give me the dosh back. Currently i can see it ending very badly in the air. My M2 due back today after downward vision sensor failure (6 months old) Repaired very quickly by Dji under manufacturer warranty. No cost at all. Look forward to stress free flying again…

Small progress report. Dji customer support informed me despite my safety concerns and flight log, they will not accept return as it is outside the 14 day window. So if you are in the same position you are stuck with it! Await the next batch of FW updates for another white knuckle ride. To Infinity anb Beyond…

Surely if it’s not fit for purpose then you have a statutory right to return it for a refund irrespective of DJIs dodgy 14 days clause.

This. To a degree.

You can return it to the original retailer for a partial refund I believe. They may play ball for a full refund but if DJI are not willing to do the refund then it’s down to the retailer who your actual contract is with. However the usual cooling off period as standard is 14 days for online purchases and usually nowt for over the counter purchases (including click and collect) so as you’d be returning it essentially as ‘I changed my mind, I don’t like it, it don’t do what I want it to do’ you’ll probably only get a partial refund.

Making assumption it was an online purchase here’s the general advice: Return faulty goods - Citizens Advice

Yes I am stuck with it. Sure you are correct with T and C’s. Only thing I thought was as I have 3 other dji Drones they may take my concerns in consideration, as in I don’t consider it safe to fly especially in an urban setting which I will not risk. My only other option using a blue badge ploy or mental disability which will be correct if this carries on. Sorry milkmanchris for screwing up the YouTube link again.

No worries pal ;o)

Checking the dynamic range on images from the mini 3 all images were dng files

@firstadekit @Kellybob

I think the consumer rights act is on your side if not fit for purpose up to 30 days for refund or even 6 months to get a replacement or partial refund, see here
