Driver fined for stopping on the hard shoulder of the M9 to fly his drone
Muppet. I did nearly stop on the side of the A40 to get some shots of the autumn trees in the Brecon Beacons a couple of weeks ago, but that was a layby, not a hard shoulder - and I decided even that was a bit dodgy,
@JoeC Baffling to say the least
But did he get the shot?!
#priorities
I’ve witnessed this act
I used to photograph mountain bike races. When I started, the two questions people always asked when I witnessed a crash were -
Is my bike OK?
Did you get the shot?
Over 10 years the only thing that changed was that they added
Did you see where my Garmin went?
The order varied for that one.
I remember some time ago, someone went and placed a series of toy lorries and cars on a live motorway, just so they could get a photo for some daft drone competition
Stupid is as stupid does.
that’s the thing these day’s no common sense, brain dead.
Didn’t that happen on the way back from one of the Humber Bridge meet-ups?
That’s a cracking TOAL spot, to be fair. Is it on Drone Scene?
Police: Cant stop on the motorway to get a picture, its dangerous. 3 points and a fine.
Also Police: Put the drone on the bonet and take a photo, its going to look fuckin sick with the reflection of the clouds.
Never mind being fined for stopping on the hard shoulder, that driver wants arresting for leaving those pull-off stickers on the arms of the drone
only just bought it and was trying it out on the way home, the boxes and wrapping are still in the back seat…
hope it had an operator id
Can’t have; he’d need to have charged it and paired it to the controller first, and he’s stuck a go-faster stripe on the side…
Unless he bought it secondhand, of course.
Or more to the point never took the factory transit stickers off
Well, yeah, but that would support the ‘just bought it, trying it out on the way home’ theory, which is a palpable lie if that’s what he’s claiming, as if it was a legit excuse!!!
