Hi Mike @Mike.B - welcome to GADC :+1: :+1: :+1:

Hi Mike @Mike.B and welcome to GADC :+1: :+1:

I am based in Nottingham. I have just bought my mini 4 over the weekend and enjoying it. It is all about gaining confidence. I am a little anxious but hoping a few months down I will be better.

Welcome you are in the right place. Enjoy there are plenty of friendky people here happy to help. With the combinations of people on here. Pretty much most things get answered.

If you drive a car, remember your first corner, your first park. You thought about everything. Years down the line, its second nature.

I personally am still cautious and play it safe but the flying is a lot easier. As you go on it just becomes more fun. Some of the people on here have got years on me but will hopefully agree. You keep learning but the fun gets better.

I really love this kind of advice it gives me hope and comfort. Thank you.

Would you say later down the line I could possibly even make a side business out of it with the bigger drones after doing the A2ofC and GVC course?

It is possible, there are a lot of people doing it but remember to get the right insurance if doing it as a job. Your general public liability will not cover you for business use.
