I also noted that whilst all the drones had all sorts of asset ID stickers on them, not one of them had a Flyer ID in any format! #BookEmDanno
Now, I actually thought i’d seen one as i pointed out to the boss ‘look, just like i have to do’ sort of thing
I’ll record that first episode, later, and give each drone closer scrutiny.
Do they need Flyer ID on them?
I thought it was Operator ID you had to display
Indeed. It was my flyer ID I renewed last, and none of mine have changed, so really couldn’t recall which the label that i put on a long time ago related to.
Either way, i didn’t see one.
Recorded whilst i was out for a while. “Fine tooth comb mode” engaged.
:
i like that they found a pile of steaming not the person form the crash
@OzoneVibe nice one Dave, that’s the one i saw. not bad for a short sighted old git eh?
me, not you
It was some time after I switched off - so my sight hasn’t been called into question.
So flyer labels but do they contact HQ to request for permission to fly or is it that someone has to put in the NOTAM notice bit and the next question is how long will it be before a collision with someone’s drone who is innocently flying to enter the RTF task. Also is Chris the nerd a member of GADC, he seems very enthusiastic
There was one part when the bobby said to control something along the lines of " there in a few minutes with drone, register usual procedures and notices" obviously that was not verbatim
OK, found the programme enlightening regarding coppers’ use of drone technology to help apprehend drug dealers & burglars.
