Anybody have any experience of flying in this FRZ? It’s also close to the Marylebone Rail Terminus. It’s a commercial job and I was wondering if I could get away with a sub 250 drone on anA2CofC and drone link to produce the ortho images. In the past, I would have flown it under my PfCO with an NSF clearance.
Many Thanks
Does this really differ in any significant manner to your previous thread? Flying in EGR160
I didn’t got a viewpoint on that either! I guess the nub of question is - if I fly sub 250 in this FRZ can I do it under the auspice of an A2CofC? I suspect it’s a rhetorical question as the NSF submission requires an OA ie GVC. Just thought I’d ask to see if anyone had had previous experience.
Thanks

@DeemanWings There is no regulatory advantage to having a A2 CofC with a <250g drone Paul, as this category of drone already has the least of the aviation restrictions (if fitted with a camera) anyway.
A FRZ, is what it says on the tin, ie you cannot fly any drone legally in an area covered by a FRZ, unless of course you have had prior permission/authorisation from the CAA (in the UK), or the FRZ pertains to other types of aircraft, or specifies drones are exempt. Moreover there are some FRZ’s that are only applicable at specific times during a week, and/or at sometime during a day/night ie Stonehenge.
