That’s what I did yesterday, I think. Full throttle, full forward
There won’t be and end stop limits like in angle if you push the stick all the way to the left it will keep rolling till you re centre the stick.
Same with forwards and backwards if you keep pushing forward on the stick it will flip all the way over.
I found that out in Horizon mode. Full left or right on the right stick, rolls the quad left or right. But because it’s Horizon, it levels it automatically after one roll.
Yeah acro won’t lol it will keep rolling! Lol
In acro mode if you roll to the left/right or pitch forward/backward if the quad is upside down when you centre the stick it will stay upside down if that makes sense?
Tiny tiny stick movements is all you need
Unless its the throttle stick then fucking send it!
This is what happened yesterday (excuse the sketch). Is this possible in Angle mode then, because that is what I believed I was in last night.
Honestly Ive not flown much in angle mode as like the guys have advised you, they advised me the same about getting straight into acro. I had a couple of flights in angle mode and never tried anything other than simple flying around. I wouldnt have thought you could pitch the nose enough to dive back on yourself in angle?
@clinkadink got velocidrone yet? If not get it and try it in and match the rates (PID tab on betaflight) and enjoy…
Hence my question on how to check my modes are setup correctly. I flicked through all 3 positions of the mode switch whilst flying, didn’t notice any real difference. Only that the middle setting, horizon, allows me to do flips - and automatically rights itself. Need to try acro mode tomorrow. If you don’t hear back, you know it worked
And don’t acro LOS… So mcuh easier with goggles
Add the modes element to your OSD in the OSD tab on betaflight then it will tell you what mode you’re in in your goggles
Damn. Knew there was something I was meant to do first On there now, cheers pal.
very much this!
Cracking tip. And I know how to do that
Look at using acro trainer. Acro but with less crashing
I tried this and it almost went terribly wrong. You feel like youre in control right upto the point that you lose orientation and it goes pear shape very quickly
And once got goggles on don’t horizon or angle mode unless needed (indoor whooping maybe onl exception) get used to acro and it will take time. Very different experience. As you say horizon and angle more like DJI drones. Acro a very very different beast. Persist with it
Wheres the fun in that?! Come on we need some entertainment!
