Emax Tinyhawk 2 Freestyle

I guess this explains why I dont know what acro trainer is :joy:

Meh, skip it. Use the sim, a lot… Did try it on Sunday, but… Nah. Angle to save you (and hover test), acro for the rest

Funnily enuf it’s something I’ve been practising on SIM this week. Having taken out my friends son for first flight, reaslied he’d done no landing practise. And I’m not great at it… Spent a good hour last night just trying to land from speed, from slow, on different things… On the sim

Ā£16.99 is nothing compared to the hundreds you’ll spend on drones  I have nearly all the sims and they all a little floaty and have different beenfits, velocidrone is the closest to the feel of my real life drones, though they all ā€œfloatā€ more in the sim than real life… watch that

It’s the same size as a decent game …

It is a game really, racing, multiplayer, etc. I don’t do the races, just fly round likes, industrial and bando ones I use. Just get open space and try to get used to acro for a bit. Great fun, and will help SOOOO much when comes to real FPV. Can even connect the goggles up (but TBH prefer the big screen!)

FPV Trick Tutorials - BEGINNER - YouTube working through these too

It’s something I’ve always liked to try and do carefully.

When I first started fpv, landing was something I’d do LOS by removing my goggles.

After a while I started to keep them on but switched to level or horizon and kept practicing by using one of those ā€œtargetā€ landing pads.

I’m pretty accurate these days and like most things drones it’s just about regular practice.

Do people have any recommendations for antennae upgrade for the Skyzone SKY02c?

@clinkadink TrueRC Singularity are my favourites. Come in alsorts of flavours too so you have many options depending on what connections you have on your goggles/quads

Thanks Steve. Do I need a mushroom one and a square one? If you can provide a link, so I don’t mess up, cheers :+1:

SKY02C - Skyzone (skyzonehobbies.com)

I use one of these (rhcp/sma90/long) and then use a rhcp/sma/stubby with it but I cant find tlhe stubbies in stock anywhere. You could just get 2 of these and then angle one at 90 degrees to the other

Thanks, appreciate the help :+1:

If you order from HobbyRC use discount code PCV7PTV3 to get 5% off :+1:t2:

these are the ones I used and have on my other unit.

They are great and fairly cheap. I’d recommend a right angle adapter though for best signal

Infact these are the right angle ones
