I do. They were my cheapskate upgrade from the Fat Shark Recons I started with. Mostly because I wanted some that let me keep my specs on.
The gap at its widest, for specs, is 152mm. Viewing apature onto the screen is basically 90mm x 30mm.

As a side note, just had a look at the specs of them all on The FPV Goggles Buyer's Guide - What Should You Buy - Oscar Liang here. And wondered why for analogue youâd need 960 vertical resolution on an analogue goggle? NTSC is 480 and PAL, 520ish? (from memory). OK if you plugin HDZero you need 720, but some of those go above that? Just scaling isnât it?
Thatâs a good page BTW @clinkadink
@clinkadink maybe stick with what you got. If you like fpv (sure you will) then go balls deep. Save you cash in the long run
Completely agree Goggles will be one of your biggest spends and once you have them you wont want to keep upgrading. Best to make sure you like it first, do lots of research on goggles (including HD goggles as you will probably go down that route at some point if you enjoy it) and then make your big purchases once. I can say for sure, I would have gone digital straight away if I knew at the time what I know now lol
Fatshark attitude v6. Can go analog or digital with them. Plus can use the head tracking aswell. They also have the hdmi.
me tooâŚ
I do like these. Nice screen.
@clinkadink I have a pair of Fatshark HDO goggles with a Fusion module sat doing nothing right now. I dont want to sell them but if you wanted to try them out for a while Im happy to send them to you mate?
Me three. Iâm not buying a 3D printer though. I donât have room.
Lol
@notveryprettyboy what are the Fatshark Dominator V3 like? There is a guy selling a set with a Furious True D module for ÂŁ160. Is that a decent price?
Fatshark Dominator V3
I think I tried them years ago. Not sure. But if it was, they are not great. Specs are bad (pixels and fov) and there is no diopter adjustment.
But the True D module is good although its 2.4ghz? Pretty sure it is
Ah I think thereâs 2 versions of the True D
Yeah I think this is the 5.8 V3 version but if the goggles are no good then its a non starter lol Just thought I would check
Donât get me wrong, they were good in their day. But you wouldnât buy a 30" plasma for youâre living room when you can get a 60" oled. I guess its cheap, but youâd probably move on quickly and itâd be collecting dust. Like my two other goggles
Right, batteries are charged, time to see what this thing can do before the sun sets. Taking it to a local field
Well, good news, I didnât lose the THF2 on my maiden flight. Although a dog ran up, grabbed it and ran off at one stage
So far what Iâve learnt is that itâs all about tiny movements on the sticks. Once I figured that out, I was looping around me nicely. But the sun had already set, and I cannot wear the goggles, so figuring out the orientation was tricky. My session ended where it powered from about 50â up into the grass. It looked like it was half way through a front flip - which I didnât think was possible in Angle mode
It landed about 30 feet from me, and when I got there, the batteries were lose and the battery strap had gone. Had a look but I couldnât find it. When I got home I noticed the all-in-one PCB was completely lose inside the top and bottom plates. Then I saw that all 4 bolts, standoffs and nuts were missing I donât know anything about FPV, but iâd be surprised if they all came out when I hit the grass. Which leads me to thinking they werenât in there in the first place.
Below, the 4 bolts, standoffs and nuts which are gone. Fortunately, included in the bundle is a small selection of these, enough to secure it - but not all 4.
Picture below is taken off the internet, its not my THF2. Yellow circles are what is/was missing.

Whatâs your eyesight like? Do you need a prescription?
Thanks Richard. A lot of info there. My eyesight isnât the best. I am both short and long sighted. I need to read the phone or book at arms length. I saw that you can get prescription lens for the Fatsharks, which is interested. Itâs that I guess, or box goggles.
The dog dropped it as soon as I turned the beeper on. Funny as ⌠!!
What prescription? The skyzone 04X and L can do + or - 6 in each eye.
