Also I have managed to get my quad linked to betaflight it would seem so I am going to have a proper go at setting all the controls up on there today and let you all know how that goes.

Hi guys, I have been playing around with the betaflight this afternoon and I am finding it pretty hard, is there anyone that could do a video call with me where I can share my screen at some point and walk me through what I need to do? If this is at all possible and not to long.
I have managed to get my motors spinning at one point which I felt I was getting close but its all very complex and I don’t want to do anything wrong. All the settings are so overwhelming!

General shout-out for ideas…
I think we’re really close now - BF is doing everything it should - gyro, receiver, motor test, etc .
BUT - It doesn’t arm. ![]()
We have checked “Allow arm without GPS fix” is switched ON in the Failsafe page and MOTOR_STOP is OFF on the Motots configuration.
What might we have missed?
Are his switches setup in his controller mixer?
Post images of the bf pages. especially the modes and receiver
Also he has disconnected usb from the PC? It wont arm while connected to Betaflight
End points of the throttle set ok? The osd will tell you why it wont arm.

Turns out the throttle is sprung to the centre position.
So it needs holding down to arm.
There should be a screw somewhere on the controller to release the tension on the throttle. Its so you can change to mode 2 etc lol
