There’s a mode 3? ![]()
It was a typo
Although someone probably has a mode 3 lol
Jez rocks a funny mode as I recall
It’s the only way to fly… ![]()
Actually its not, there are 3 other ways apparently ![]()
up down left and right
Youve just summed up all my fpv moves in a few words ![]()
So, Chris doesn’t have any screws at the minute, and he’s practiced in LiftOff with the controller as-is, and configured so the centre position is zero throttle.
I don’t think we can mimic this in BF, and the best suggestion is to un-spring the controller?
The controller should come with the screws needed, get him to check the packaging
First and foremost
You can with a cli command, but I dont recommend it.
Pretty self explanatory. Change the upper and lower as required on the channel required. I use it for the tango 2 to get max resolution from the sticks. Still fly like shit

Morning Lez, I have managed to watch some videos and seen that that bolt looking screw with no head was intact the right part I just needed an Allen key which I have now and I have managed to place the screw in and it has taken away the spring to the throttle, I will leave a link to short video showing the gimbal on radio so you can let me know if this looks correct to how it should be.
unlike the other videos it wasn’t actually screws which it what threw me off last night. And also I had seen others had struggled to place this bolt in as well and get it to work but I didn’t have any problems, so today I will be taking to a field for the first time thank you all of your help and the help of everyone else here so thank you.
I’ll let you know how I get on, fingers crossed I don’t crash!
Hi Chris glad to see you are getting close now. That throttle stick is too loose now. As per the video that Jez posted above there is a second screw to go into the back of your controller which will add a little resistance to the stick movement so it doesnt just flop around like you have at the moment ![]()
Good luck on your first flight, and you will crash, but dont worry its all part of the learning curve ![]()
Perfect. I trust you’ve revisited LiftOff to see how it feels?
Don’t be this guy first time out.
(It’s also an Explorer LR.)

Haha good idea, intact I did just set it again indoors without props on to see how it felt but again it wasn’t right as when the throttle is all the way down the motors still spin and it’s almost like even when I push up there isn’t any change in speed like there should be. Weird…
Any ideas?
As I said last night, it’ll do this when there’s no props on as it tries to match what it’s feeling in the gyro to what it thinks the props are doing. Don’t worry, this has caught me out before, too. Get some props on and it should be fine. Just keep your finger on the disarm switch in case it’s not.
Ok guys I have now watched that video that now I know I have the right bolt and think I may have got the right tensions but again it almost feels like the throttle sticks and once I push up it then stays at high speed but when I pull back no real change to bring it down speed.
And still I can’t get it to stop spinning and no throttle completely either.
So I’m abit stuck again haha
