General 3D printing chit chat

I ordered the mini at the weekend and arrived today and the first thing I printed was a scraper (as seen on the printer). At the same time of printing, I noticed the spools kept falling off the AMS Lite (this holds 4 spools for 4 colour printing.) This was because I was using Sunlu Filament instead of the recommended Bambu Reels. So the next thing to print is 4 spool adapters.

I’ve changed nothing on the printer. I’ve just gone with all the recommended settings. It took me 30 minutes to set up and the scraper took 15 minutes to print while each spool adapter 2.5 hours. It seems as promised, plug and play which is what I want.

I’m also able to claim the reduction which I’ve applied for. I didn’t however get my “mystery gift” so I’ve opened a ticket for that.

I also notice Bambu Labs will soon be offering multi plate printing. Interesting times ahead!

Yes I first bought the P1S in May last year, loved it that much I ordered the X1C with AMS, sold my P1S straight away for what I paid.
Love mine, my wife has now bought me a second AMS, I am sure she is fed up with me moaning about some great prints that need 5 or more colours lol
Enjoy the A1 Mini it is a great machine

Man…

Must. Not. Look.

Knockagh monument top between Carrickfergus and Belfast - a WW2 monument to those fallen in WW1 and 2.

Wilmont House picture 2. Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park between Belfast and Lisburn. This is a 4 colour print but the last colour never turned out correct. I’ve bit of cleaning todo on this but it’s all a learning process and happy enough with the result.

Bambu Labs Mini A1.

I’ve ordered some A4 magnetic sheets so will be making a few fridge magnets over the next few days. It’s a bit windy, I’ve been lazy and haven’t used my drone but I love combining hobbies.

Just got me first printer, went for the Bambu A1 mini and really like it. Only done a couple of prints nothing exciting as I’m running it from the Bambu app on my phone.

Looking to hook up to my pc but wondering which software everyone is using??? As I’ve read the Bambu one is ok but a little restricted…

Bambu Labs Maker World is brilliant and so is Bambu Studio, don’t listen to doubters, you won’t need anything else, I have the X1C and 2 AMS’s and only use Bambu Studio now

After learning the secret to not losing the air 3 propeller tips was to remove the props from the drone when it was in my bag, Im now playing hunt the propellers when I need to refit them. Has anyone seen a nice propeller case I can print?

Alternatively Im thinking of a peli micro and printing an insert for it out of TPU, these would take up some room in my bag though.

Open to ideas

Maybe…

Printed this for my Mini 4 Pro blades, would work with Air 3 ones too if increased size
