Ah - it’s now on Amazon … for the M2, at least.
Indeed - not on Amazon for the MP.
Also - you can’t buy extra battery wraps on Amazon (… for the MP, at least) which I also needed.

I’ve always opted for non textured skins, but they always end up looking a bit bumpy when I put them on
Hi @Ned,
My Dankla skin came with this backing paper
Oracal 970 Premium Wrapping Cast Vinyl, 100 micron, Reposition-able Permanent Adhesive, Suitable for uneven surfaces and arches, conforms to rivets and corrugations. With Rapid Air Release System.
The fit on my Typhoon was very good, the skin conformed well to the numerous curves without wrinkling. Would certainly recommend them. Purchased mine via eBay.
@SeaHunter Cheers Mate!
I’ll second that, got mine from DecalGirl very impressed with quality fitted on my Platinum, remote and 3 batteries, with a discount code mine cost $34 inc delivery and just over 2 weeks door to door.
Whilst I’m still deciding between Dankla, DecalGirl and WrapGrade for the full wrap, I chucked on a WrapGrade accent pack… £11 from Amazon.
Very good taste my friend
WrapGrade v Dankla
Ok, I’ve used wraps from both of these guys now. I have to say that, despite the price, I much prefer WrapGrade.
Quality
The 3M vinyl used by Wrapgrade is of better quality than the material used by Dankla for their M2P kit. There isn’t any branding on the sheets so I’ve no idea what they are using. The adhesive is better on the WrapGrade, allowing easy repositioning. The Dankla wrap struggles on some curves; coming loose in places. Dankla suggest using a hairdryer during application.
Fit
IMHO, WrapGrade offers a genuine wrap; most parts are cut in a way that allows overlap between pieces, so none of the drone exterior finish is visible.
Dankla do not follow that approach; each piece is cut to cover a particular facet, so there are visible ‘joint’ lines. These can be quite obvious if you’re not very dexterous. (see photo).
Instructions
Again, Wrapgrade all the way. Each kit comes with a diagram that shows alignment guides for each part. There are also tons of useful YouTube videos.
Dankla supply a numbered diagram showing where the different pieces go; there is no alignment guide or any videos for any DJI drone online.
Price
WrapGrade kits are roughly double the price of equivalent Dankla offerings.
Conclusion
I usually try and bat for the ‘little guy’, but I’m sorry to say that on this occasion, it’s WrapGrade all the way.
Ned
Looks really good love that rust/orange colour
That’s the Dankla Chrome Orange wrap.
This looks very smart. But does the wrapping cause any interference or impact signal strength?
Hi @Doug, no interference of any kind
Excellent then it looks like my MA2 is getting wrapped. Cheers
Hope you’ve read this…
And remember, WrapGrade have a presence on Amazon
@ned I ordered it the other day, but its not arrived yet, trying to convince the wife to do the wrapping as I’ve not got the patience. I’d just end up with a ball of nicely coloured wrap
@FireStorm-X very nice black camo:+1:
