Have you wrapped your bird?

Got a team of experts to do mine.

Visibility vs taste on my mini 2. Black underside and neon orange. I went with Wrapgrade.

I’ve still to weigh it but, given that the weight of the mini 2 is supposed to be 242 grams and the wrapping roughly 6 grams, it should still come in underweight. Just the op id sticker to go on top now. That’s transparent with black printing.

To be honest, I found it quite finicky and it’s a little rougher around the edges than I’d like on close inspection.

I just went for a few dayglo stripes to aid location on the ground, though my MA2 hardly needs it with the bright orange MAS props

The velcro dot is to attach a small strobe

Wraps are too fiddly for my sausage fingers and I’d do a crap job trying to put one on neatly but this looks like something I could manage. Does it help much with daytime visibility? I’m also thinking the bright colour might help to keep birds at bay as the drone no longer appears as a dull grey object. :slightly_smiling_face:

New supersport skin for my Mini - apparently increases top speed by 10mph!!

Go faster stripes for the win! :+1:t2:

Yeah :sunglasses: Dying to get out there and see if it’s any quicker  although in the wind today probably 50 mph quicker!!

Wrapped the mini 2 earlier today. I wanted to make it more visible!

I’m pretty happy for the first time I’ve done a wrap

Found these last week.
Limited colours but at £8 a skin for mavic, spark or air i thought it was worth sharing.

I bought a couple myself as I couldn’t decide and was really impressed with the quality

Oh… can’t help feeling that those will be horrible! Huge discount, and I’m not that keen on skinning props!

Happy to be proved wrong… is anyone going to take a punt?

I’m looking at a dark skin my Air 2, purely for the purposes of making it a bit more visible during the day, against a light sky. I’ll leave the props alone, but the underneath and sides of it are fair game.

Give it go, can’t go wrong for £8!

I took a punt and will be adding one today seeing as the weather is poor.

I’ll not be skinning the props though

Will let you know the results

If I can, I would like to plug this chap ( no personal connection, other than I am a happy customer ) on ebay.

He has been great, I wanted a reflective red colour ( he has all the florescent ones! ), he was in a day or so able to source and cut it for me for no extra cost ( £8.50 ).
