Hello friends. I’m based out of Southampton for the moment and I’m the proud owner of a slightly dinked DJI mini 2. Looking to make friends and influence people. When not messing around with drones, I drive up and down the country in cranes.

Have you seen our members map? (Click the burger-menu in the top right) You may find some pilots living near you. Feel free to add yourself to the members map too :+1:t2:

We’re a well established club with many knowledgeable members so it’s very likely that any issues you come across will have been discussed here before. Our discussion forum has very powerful search features which should help you find what you need but if you get stuck you can post a new question in the #questions-and-answers category.

People were trying to find one of our Birthday Challenge and Treasure Hunt items:

  1. Mobile Crane
  • Bonus point if in motion
  • Bonus point if being escorted
  • Bonus point if it has more than 6 axles (visible)
  • Bonus point if on a single track road
  • Bonus point for NOT being yellow

Once you get your crane to site do you get time to put a drone up?

Guys generally fly your drones in the Southampton/new forest area, since apparently we’re not allowed to fly there.

I’m a total newbe and having a similar problem in Fareham finding a site to practice safely… :frowning: it would help if I knew what I was doing…
