Another new member here 
I bought my first drone (a DJI Mini 2) just over a week ago, but then I got the dreaded Ping and ended up Self Isolating. This weekend is far too wet/windy for me to try anything so I’ve not actually flown it except in my living room so far!
This site seems a brilliant resource. All the newbie questions I was about to ask have already been answered - and I even took the plunge and bought Coverdrone insurance after following the insurance thread.

Have you seen our members map? (Click the burger-menu in the top right) You may find some pilots living near you. Feel free to add yourself to the members map too 
We’re a well established club with many knowledgable members so it’s very likely that any issues you come across will have been discussed here before. Our discussion forum has very powerful search features which should help you find what you need but if you get stuck you can post a new question in the #questions-and-answers category.
