Is it possible to reverse the gimbal dial direction on rc-n1 so that when you push right the canera tilts down and left tilts up
? Ive had a quick google but only find a couple of modified controller youtube videos and users also asking the same things on other forums. How are other dji controllers configured for gimbal tilt direction? Ive only ever used the rc n1. Did dji change the direction on more modern controllers?
This could be popped in questions and answer section really
No you cant alter the direction by the setting
In the fly app wayne?
Yes there is no setting that will change the direction
Cheers ill have a look now
There isn’t one, you can not alter it
I see i see. From your first reply it said can.
Sorry typo
what about other controllers?
Is it worth getting a upgrade?
Not that I know of, what drone what controller
I guess the real question is about the direction of the how the dial works. Being able to switch it around. Seems like alot of people share similar thoughts of pushing the dial to the right should tilt the camera down
Sounds like a PCB surgery job to me
Shouldn’t be too difficult
Was bidding on some rc-n1s on ebay so i can try the modification. Dies anyone have one for sale on here? Should post a wanted ad really
Post on sale and wanted, as Steve said it shouldn’t be an issue modding it
Couldn’t you just take the wheel and switch off, and just reverse it in the controller?
Theres a video on the youtubes it shows you how to do it. You got to disconnect the wires coming from the wheel and reverse them. Theres 3 in total, leavong the middle one in the middle. Fancy donating a controller @Hotrodspike so i can try it? Your walsall way yeah? Bit cheeky but only half jokin
Ive starting flying alot more with my finger on the dial. Its the only way to controll the shot properly. When you get it just right the feeling is amazing. Like the first time you get the roll and yaw to line up and your orbiting smoothly. Add the the tilt and your head explodes! I sound such like an amature
