Interesting NOTAMs / Flight Reports / temporary flight restriction zones

Looks like her maj may be on her way home to Windsor. Why do they broadcast a potential terrorist targets travel intention? It doesnt take anybody with half a brain to realise this is a member of the Royal Family.

The post that you replied to is 15 months old. Things change.

Check the current restrictions on our own dronescene.co.uk (accessed from the “hamburger menu” at the top right of the page").

Here’s a link to that specific location showing the restrictions …

There are also some other cautionary areas …

The shore around Sunderland Point is an SSSI so be careful.

ALERT FOR RESTRICTED AIRSPACE (TEMPORARY) – AINTREE RACECOURSE, MERSEYSIDE. DRONE ONLY

The 2022 Grand National will be held at Aintree Racecourse from 7 to the 9 April 2022. There will be a large number of helicopters operating from the temporary

that it is necessary to introduce Restriction of Flying Regulations under Article 239 of
the Air Navigation Order 2016.

THESE RESTRICTIONS OF FLYING DO NOT APPLY TO MANNED AIRCRAFT

I will attach photos, apologies but I couldn’t get the full thing in frame as dronescene wouldn’t load it so zoomed out

Anyone know anything about this? Seems very strange and couldn’t find anything about it elsewhere

That’ll be her maj going to Sandringham from Windsor

The Queen is flying to Sandringham from Windsor on the 20th, probably got something to do with that.

Is it normally such a large TFR that’s put in place for that? Seems a tad excessive

Might be a tad bad taste but 'er Madge is getting on a bit and possibly has health concerns. Plenty of room in that NOTAM for diversion to the nearest hospital with an ICU en route …

Fair point, makes perfect sense

For the reasons @macspite has quoted

Her Maj usual route shown previously is a bed red block line from Windsor to Sandringham. It was always a bit obvious who it was so maybe this is the alternative…a whopping great radius of southern England so makes it a bit more vague of who it is and the exact route!

Advance notice of a forthcoming massive temporary restricted area spanning from Boston in the North, Banbury in the West, Epsom in the South, and Framlingham in the East.

No idea what it’s for but some rumors doing the rounds are that Biden is flying in as a stop on the way to Ukraine and not using the usual protocols with regard to the final airport location. Could be ***p though

Can’t zoom out far enough on Drone Assist to take a pic

Anyone got any info on this?

Moved your post to the correct thread.

Probably the above?
