Hey up, not far from you just the other side of Snaith. We often get local flyers to meet, keep an eye on the meets section, we get to fly, natter and play with each other’s toys
Have you seen our members map? (Click the burger-menu in the top right) You may find some pilots living near you. Feel free to add yourself to the members map too 
We’re a well established club with many knowledgeable members so it’s very likely that any issues you come across will have been discussed here before. Our discussion forum has very powerful search features which should help you find what you need but if you get stuck you can post a new question in the #questions-and-answers category.

hi thanks for your welcome message, I notice there are a few places to fly from templenewsam, kippax, Selby, but don’t know any near here, except for Pontefract race course park which Pontefract model club use for rc plane flying.

Pretty good down at the Weir on the Aire, also on the old BIg K site.
know the area quite well, I lived in garforth for quite a while, nice area same with kippis
