The ground wind speed seemed manageable, but at altitude it was blowing a hooley!

How do I check the members map @SparkyFPV?
Sorry for the probably obvious questions but I’ve only just joined yesterday 
@BadManners yeh it must have been blowing bad to shoot off that fast, couldn’t even see it within seconds

Hi Kevin’ The same thing happened to me. It wasnt as expensive as yours (why I bought it! £125) but the battery and SD card were worth £60 
It was fine on the grass field but the updraft near a building took it up and into the ‘jet stream’. Never seen it since but it occurred to me that I could have turned the speed wheel thing to help it fight the wind. The Return To Home function was working as I could see it trying hard to come back but alas it probably ended up in the river, trees, brambles, school, road and a dozen more places. If it happened again, unlikely as I don’t fly on windy days, I’d press the kill switch as I would then know roughly where to start my search. God forbid even a sub 250g drone should hit someone.

I haven’t, but only because I don’t know how I would get the serial number without the drone. I didn’t register it while I had it, probably thought I was to smart to lose it haha

If you go back to AirData, and do General then Equipment, your Mavic Mini serial should show there.

Guys I cannot praise you lot enough, went out with Chadman today to have a fly over and couldn’t see it.
First house I went to to hand out a flyer she said “I’ve got it” so lucky and I can’t remember who did the trainge with the red line of trajectory but it was spot on!
Big thanks to everyone and especially chadman for coming out and giving me a hand!
